Welcome to my site!

I'm Yasmin and this is my personal website. I'm a Masters student in Chemical Engineering, but in my spare time I like to dabble around with fun Internet stuff. I first created this site in 2023 and I've been hesitating between different styles and aesthetics. Currently this is the one I'm going with.

The title 'Ratu Bersiung' means 'fanged queen', adapted from the Malay folk tale 'Raja Bersiung' (or 'fanged king'). If it isn't obvious, I love everything that has to do with vampires, the occult and the supernatural, whether it relates to Eastern or Western folklore.

This site was created because I'm sick of social media and I wanted a space that I could personalise to my liking, and post what I wanted without restriction. Hopefully I'll be able to learn lots of new things as I go along! I'll be keeping my blog here, character shrines, and projects that I do. And I will not abandon it this time!!
